Privacy Policy

Buyers (site visitors)

NewBuilt does not require accounts, registration, or login for buyers. We collect:

• Cookies: A session cookie to maintain a consistent browsing experience (which agent sponsor you see during your visit) and, if you arrive via an agent's share link, an attribution cookie that lasts 30 days. These cookies do not contain personal information.
• Anonymized analytics: We generate a one-way hash from your browser's user agent, screen size, and timezone to count unique impressions. This hash cannot be reversed to identify you. We do not use third-party tracking pixels, retargeting, or ad networks.
• Share link clicks: When you click an agent's share link, we log a one-way hash of your IP address (not your actual IP), your browser type, and the referring URL. This data is used solely for click-count reporting to the agent.

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personally identifiable information from buyers unless you voluntarily submit it via our contact form.

Agent Sponsors

We collect the information you provide at sign-up:

• Name, email, phone number
• Broker name and real estate license number
• Headshot photo
• Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)

• Session cookies: To show you the same agent sponsor during a single browsing session, ensuring a consistent experience.
• Attribution cookies: To honor agent share links — when an agent sends you a link, their card appears exclusively for 30 days.
• Impression hashes: To count unique visitors per agent per hour for fair rotation reporting. We count impressions, not people.
• Agent sponsor data: To display your agent card, process payments, and generate your monthly impression reports.

• We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.
• We do not use third-party ad networks, retargeting pixels, or behavioral tracking.
• We do not build buyer profiles or track you across other websites.
• We do not require buyer accounts or login.
• We do not share buyer contact information with agents. If a buyer wants to contact an agent, they initiate that contact themselves (by calling the number on the agent card).

Both cookies contain only a random identifier — no personal data. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings.

Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security enabled. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers.

Visitor impression data uses one-way cryptographic hashes (SHA-256). These hashes cannot be reversed to identify individual visitors.

• Impression data: Retained for reporting purposes. Anonymized hashes only — no PII.
• Share link click logs: Retained for agent reporting. Contains only hashed IPs, browser type, and referrer.
• Agent sponsor data: Retained while subscription is active. Upon cancellation, agent profile data is deactivated (not displayed) but retained for accounting and reporting purposes. You may request deletion by contacting us.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. For agent sponsors, this includes your profile information, impression reports, and payment history (Stripe-managed).

California residents: Under the CCPA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Active agent sponsors will be notified via email of material changes.
